The distinguished presence of the family's Grandfather Clock

A touch of the OLD and the NEW

Open, spacious, and with a touch of tradition, this kitchen by Garsden & Clarke, designed by Kimberley Whitehead, creates a marvellous effect, clearly the central hub of this Queensland home.

With a clean, white base, this kitchen project easily meshes modern lines with older details. Quality finishes and materials enhance the look, using natural stone and timber. The combination of black and white minimal design, and the wicker bar stools, evokes a new, fresh feel. The space in the kitchen has also been used to remarkable effect, easily fitting the whole family and some guests as well.

With pieces of the client’s personal decor distributed throughout the space, such as the Grandfather clock, this kitchen is packed with personality. With contemporary LED downlights lighting this stylish design, it’s a kitchen that will stay current for many years to come.

An island bench is the perfect way to integrate more storage into the kitchen.

A light, bright affair in The Hamptons

This exquisite home has been an extensive project and the owners, a delight to work with. The completed kitchen project has really opened up the living areas, integrating the kitchen more with the rest of the home and outdoor living spaces.

The owners wanted lots of storage, a large island bench, fully integrated appliances and something unique for their splashback. The white colour scheme makes the exposed wooden beams and marble benchtops stand out and gives the room a sense of grandeur.

With a generous amount of drawer and cupboard storage space, this kitchen provides a perfect light and bright entertaining space that catches the eye as soon as you enter the living area.
